Mission Statements: 1) The number one reason we started this race series in 2007 was to give everyone an opportunity to race once a month over each of the four upcoming months and to beat cabin fever. 2) We feel it is a great way to stay in shape, work on some new riding skills (due to the unique weather conditions), and be ready for the start of the other series come springtime whether that be the GNCCs, ACES, SOCCS, KRS, or D-11. 3) The series is much more about the opportunity to ride/race and the comradery through it all rather than awards. That is why we have compressed the classes some and the awards are dialed down a tad to save costs. 4) We are definitely not in this to make money. In fact, we ask for nothing and receive nothing! The revenue from each race goes directly to the track/land owner in order to rent the land, pay for scoring, obtain the awards, have insurance, and do everything else that goes along with hosting a race. We do ask them to hold back a nominal sum after each race to go toward year end awards. 5) We welcome anyone that wants to play a more pivotal role in planning, promoting, or developing the race series. Think of it more of a communal thing or co-op with everyone that frequents HarescrambleTalk. That is why we say it is sponsored by the racers here at HarescrambleTalk on the handout... it really is "our series"!
